Sanja Saranovic

Mrs. Sanja Saranovic has legal background and 20 years of experience in UNICEF. She has worked in the field of child rights, protection and social development in UNICEF Country Offices in the Republic of Montenegro, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Republic of Moldova and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Most recently she has worked as a Regional Child Protection Specialist in UNICEF Office for the Middle East and North Africa, based in Amman, Jordan serving 17 Country offices. Mrs Sanja Saranovic coordinated a regional programmatic response on strengthening respective national child protection systems for the most vulnerable children, including children affected by migration

Mrs. Sanja Saranovic is a national of Montenegro. She is married and has two children. She joined the Country Office in Bulgaria at the end of October 2018.
